Today, October 24, the first scientific-practical conference on the topic ‘Military and Historical Work in the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’ began at the Institute of Naval Forces of the National University ‘Odessa Maritime Academy’. Problematic issues and ways to solve them ‘. The scientific and practical goal of the event is to formulate a general concept of domestic naval history and to develop effective methods of military-historical work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The event began with an introductory speech by the deputy commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the moral and psychological provision of Captain 1 rank Andriy Ursol and the rector of the National University ‘Odessa Maritime Academy’ Mikhail Miyusov.

Vice-Admiral Andriy Tarasov, first deputy commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, started the work of sectional meetings in directions – the history of wars and military art, military history work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the support of military history and military-historical work.

According to the plan of the conference, which will last until October 25, the participants visited the Military History Museum.
