The delegation of the United States Embassy in Ukraine, led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Ukraine, Mrs. Mari Jovanovich inspected ships and objects of the infrastructure of the Ukrainian Navy in the Azov direction. The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the current situation in the waters of the Azov Sea and visit the locations of the units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Ukraine, Mrs. Mari Jovanovic, discussed the security situation in the region with the Commander of the Army Navy, Admiral Igor Voronchenko, and the priority ways of further cooperation. After a visit to the Ukrainian Navy’s fleet based in the Sea of ​​Azov, the foreign delegation inspected the points of permanent deployment of marines in the Zaporozhye region.
