Thirty troops from the airborne assault company participated in the event from the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Total training was attended by servicemen from Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Ukraine and the United States. Under the command of the joint headquarters of the Armed Forces of Romania and the United States.
The main objective of participation in the training was to acquire skills of joint operations of military personnel within the multinational unit in accordance with NATO standards.
During the training of the troops of the assault and assault company of a separate battalion of the Marine Corps, represented by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the following was considered and practically worked out: – the basics of level separation / platoon tactics;
– Procedures for carrying out raids (during the day with the platoon of the US Marine Corps, raids were carried out, night classes were also conducted);
– medical training (four sergeants passed a course on tactical medicine, which included the practical implementation of the evacuation of the US Air Force Black Hawk Helicopter);
– Procedures for fire artillery fire and its correction (four sergeants and one officer successfully scored on a computer simulator);
– technique of practical execution of martial arts on the ‘Platoon of the offensive’ with the fire support of the mortar battery of the US Marine Corps;
– successfully passed the course of development of the sergeant (six sergeants are noted for the better).
Consequently, participants in the training received experience in conducting various types of joint combat and inflicting enemy fire on the procedures and standards of the US Marine Corps.
