Contract for the construction of five corvets in Spain for Saudi Arabia

On April 12, 2018, during the official visit to Spain of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed ibn Salman al-Saud, a package of contracts was signed for the Navantia Spanish shipbuilding association to build five Avante 2200 corvette for the Navy of Saudi Arabia. Sagal value of transactions amounted to about 2 billion euros
