Navy Forces of Ukraine participated in multinational exercises ‘Sea Shield – 2018’, held in Romania from 7 to 11 May. The main purpose of the training was working out measures for planning, implementation and evaluation of anti action in support of protykaternoyi, air defense and mine.

According to the deputy commander of the Naval Forces of Ukraine for combat training Rear Admiral Alexei Neyizhpapy compatible learning facilitates cooperation between participating countries, in this case concerns the Black Sea basin, recently quite unstable region. He noted that performing tasks along the sea, in the air and on land, we make another step towards peace and stability in the Black Sea.

Participants learned training with the features of planning, implementation and evaluation of anti-submarine operations involving multinational forces under NATO standards, organization and conduct maneuvers controlled by multinational forces, functioning and structure of the management team learning.

Ukrainian sailors participation in such events is important in terms of the need to maintain and develop military cooperation with the armed forces of member countries and partner countries NATO.
