The Finnish Ministry of Defense announced that on July 5, 2018, the Defense Minister approved the acquisition of Gabriel’s new Israeli anti-ship missiles for the Command of the Defense Forces to equip four promising corvets planned for the Navy of Finland under the Laivue 2020 (‘Flotilla 2020’) program, as well as missile boats of the Hamina type and coastal missile units.
